The EYA is proud to host the Organic Orchard Management Program, at Copley Community Orchard in East Vancouver.
We are offering a comprehensive, hands-on training program with a number of local experts instructing courses in the following topics:
-Overview of a year in the orchard
-Pruning and Canopy Management
-Integrated Pest Management and Holistic Orchard Health
-Soils and Orchard Fertility
-Berry production
-Pollination and Crop load management
-Grafting
-Trellises and other orchard infrastructure
