Happy almost spring!  We have some important dates coming up at Copley
Community Orchard to share with you.

Saturday February 21st, 1:00 pm – We will be meeting at the Orchard to
prune the apple trees.  If you are interested in learning by watching and
doing, you are welcome to join in.

Friday February 27th, 1:00pm – We will be meeting at the Orchard to prune
the heritage trees.  If you are interested in learning by watching and
doing, you are welcome to join in.

Sunday, March 1, 1:00pm – We will be meeting at the Orchard to apply a
dormant spray to the trees.  This will be weather dependent as the spray
cannot be applied if it is raining.  If you are interested in learning by
watching and doing, you are welcome to join in.

Saturday, March 7, 3:00pm to 5:30pm – This will be our Annual General
Meeting (AGM).  All members and interested members of the community are
invited to attend.  Our 200 trees and berry bushes at Copley are putting
on good growth and getting ready to bear fruit. At this springtime annual
meeting, we will look back at where we’ve come — and forward to the
season ahead.

We hope to see you soon!
